Semmel Excavating worked along side the city of Bethlehem in the New Street Streetscape project in downtown Bethlehem. Located near the historic Musikfest site, this project revitalized one of the city's busiest area.
 
The project involved heavy demolition of outdated infrastructure, followed by extensive concrete work and custom paver installation to give the area a fresh, clean look. Semmel also introduced new public amenities, including new seating areas, cellphone charging stations, and the complete renovation of the small park space along the street.
 
This transformation gives South New Street a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly atmosphere, enhancing both functionality and curb appeal. The project reflects Semmel Excavating’s expertise in urban redevelopment, delivering durable, high-quality solutions that improve public spaces and contribute to the community’s overall appeal.
